One silhouette. Four materials. One ecosystem.
This document is the canonical, internal reference for the MARCO Passport object. It is not a marketing page. Every variant on this page consumes the same silhouette, tokens, and identity DNA.

Canonical Passport Object
Silhouette Anatomy
One canonical SVG path in src/components/passport/silhouette.ts. Every Passport variant, every wallet frame, every specimen on this page is clipped to the same path. Three softly-rounded corners at 42px, one architectural chamfer of 78px on the top-right.

Tier Material System
The entry material. Cold, honest, unornamented. Belongs to the ones who arrive first.
The verified base tier. Brushed cool metal — quiet, industrial, structural.
The flagship material. Deep matte body with restrained warm-gold detailing — the reference Passport.
The rarest material. Deep ceramic body with a cold platinum edge and a faint iridescent sheen.
Subject-Type System
Guilloche Fingerprint
Algorithm harmonic-sine-field-v1. Seed derived only from public visual identifiers — never PII, never wallet secrets, never reversible.
QR System
The QR is the authority surface. On this design-system page it is a static concept placeholder — it encodes no personal data, no wallet balance, no credential, no token.

Compact Wallet Mode
Expanded Mode
Compact Wallet Mode presents immediate identity. Expanded Mode is the deeper Passport experience — concept-only in V1. Every value below is a neutral state: no fabricated balances, activities, rewards, holdings, or credentials.

Responsive Specimens
Motion Principles
- 01Restraint over spectacleMotion exists to confirm state, never to entertain. No parallax, no confetti, no bounce. If a motion cannot be justified by verification or hierarchy, it is removed.
- 02Material responseThe Passport reacts as a physical object. Hover lifts by 6px with a 180ms ease-out; the gold hairline gains 15% luminance. It never rotates in space unless the user is inspecting it directly.
- 03Verification is the only celebrationA successful scan pulses the QR bracket once, in the tier's accent, for 240ms. Nothing else in the object moves. Failure state is silent — a single hairline turns copper.
- 04Presence pulseWhen the Passport is live and reachable, a 1.6s low-opacity breath animates the NFC glyph — never the body, never the typography, never the QR.
- continuous spin
- 3d rotation
- neon pulse
- parallax
- auto playing video
- 01One gesture, one meaningTap opens. Long-press reveals machine layer. Scan verifies. The Passport learns no other gestures.
- 02Two-layer objectHumans see the front face. Machines see the JSON-LD credential layer. Both layers are the same Passport — never two products.
- 03The QR is authorityThe QR is not decoration. It is the presentation channel for verification. It rotates every 60s in wallet, is bracketed, and never shares its frame with marketing.
- 04Wallet-native, portal-agnosticThe Passport must render identically in Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and any future digital wallet. The portal is never the source of truth for the object — the wallet is.
- 05Silence by defaultNo banner. No badge. No notification. The Passport speaks only when scanned, tapped, or verified.
Accessibility
Machine-Readable Representation
The full design system is served as JSON at a canonical URL. Same source of truth as this page.
GET /api/public/passport-design-systemProhibited Uses
- No credit-card imitation.
- No government-passport imitation.
- No fake balances, fake handles, fake holders, fake thresholds.
- No modification of the immutable MARCO logo on the object.
- No MARCO Chad on the Passport object — Chad is cultural, the Passport is institutional.
